Su Blackwell - Book cut sculpture
I am totally not sorry for featuring her work again. I love Brian Dettmer too, they have very different styles. Brian’s sculptures tend to be contained within the book while Su’s have the book as a base. Two exemplary artists.

Shadow of the Sun Earrings
Handmade from sterling silver and feature beautiful natural amber cabochons which are set inside serrated sterling silver bezels. The bezels are soldered to the top of textured silver discs which are supposed to imitate the sun. Oxidized to and brushed to a soft satin finish to highlight contrast.
